Iversen’s documented training background includes USMC Training Detachment Chief at the USCG Special Missions Training Center and later GS-13 Site Director of the USN Riverine Detachment Joint Maritime Training Center. His record includes development and implementation of an NETC-approved formal riverine school and Operation Iraqi Freedom pre-deployment training for more than 500 Riverine Sailors.
